When we choose to develop our Resources, we choose to get into the dance instead of sitting it out. When we choose to develop our talents we may fail at first. It's a risk. It's a sacrifice. But being in the dance is much better than sitting it out.

I Hope You Dance ~Lee Ann Womack
When we choose to develop our Resources, we choose to get into the dance instead of sitting it out. Sitting it out is a Northeast Process. It is sacrificing at a level less than we are capable of.
Owner of a Lonely Heart ~Yes
This is another song about a Northeast Process. It's about living a lonely life because we don't want to chance being hurt. It's risky entering into relationships. The consequence could be a broken heart. It is a sacrifice to be in relationships with people who make mistakes and hurt us or when we do that to them. We're all still learning and growing. It's wise to be cautious in our relationship choices but avoiding all relationships is a Northeast Process.
Effect
When You Say Nothing At All ~Alison Krauss
This song is about experiencing the Effects of a Balanced or Compatible Relationship. There's just nothing like it. When our Processes are balanced we know it. The relationship works. Both members are engaged in a Process that is compatible with one another's.

Happily Ever After ~Jenny Phillips
There are two stories going on. The physical story is what we see and hear with our physical senses. We may be rich or poor in material Resources, position, or life circumstances. But the other story that is more real and lasting is the spiritual story, which we can only see and hear with our spiritual senses. We may be rich or poor in Spiritual Resources, position, and eternal circumstances. Which will we choose to develop?
Level 1: Pathway 5
Desire
They Don't Know ~Tracey Ullman
Cause
Not Alone ~Red
When those in our relationships fail to keep their commitment to meet our needs but we continue to keep ours, a Paradoxical Cause will not leave us. He will carry us through it all.
Process
Turn, Turn, Turn ~the Byrds
If You're Going Through Hell ~Rodney Atkins
When we face adversity in our relationships, it often feels like we're going through hell. The Paradoxical Sacrifice Process is about enduring hard times without breaking our commitments. The key is to recognize that this is temporary and will be over soon. Just keep going. The reward (Result) is better than we can ever imagine.
Effect
Losing ~Tenth Avenue North
Even when others break their commitments to us purposefully or ignorantly, we can continue keeping ours by forgiving them, and standing steadfast in Christ. It does not feel like this is the right thing to do in the moment. It's hard. We feel like we're the ones losing. It's paradoxical. It's a sacrifice. It hurts. But when we do it, we obtain freedom, Mercy, and retain our Peace and Joy in the Result! We need Christ's grace to do this. We sense his Process - his sacrifice for us, his love when he sacrificed in this same way. We sense it in the Effects we experience when our Process unites with his. This Effect sustains us and is the most unbelievable Effect we can ever experience! It can't be experienced in any other way.
Middle of Your Heart ~for King & Country
Very similar to the previous song in its concept.
Love of Another Kind ~Amy Grant
Another song witnessing Jesus Christ's Paradoxical Effects.
Peacegiver ~Johanna Jones
When we can't find peace in our relationships, we can turn to Christ. He will sustain us so that we can continue to keep our commitments which provides our Specific Person with time to repent. As we do this, we are also given time to repent - to get it right. Because none of us is perfect, we all need this Mercy.
