Desire ~Dallin H. Oaks, April 2011
"I hope each of us will search our hearts to determine what we really desire and how we rank our most important desires. Desires dictate our priorities, priorities shape our choices, and choices determine our actions. The desires we act on determine our changing, our achieving, and our becoming."

According to the Desire of [our] Hearts ~Neal A. Maxwell, October 1996

The Immediate Goodness of God ~Kyle S. McKay, April 2019
The Lord's idea of "soon" is different from our idea of it. But even if we must wait upon the Lord's timing for our desired Results, there are certain immediate blessings he gives us. Even while we are struggling in adversity, he gives us hope, peace, and blessings of assurance. God's love is immediate.

Prepared to Obtain Every Needful Thing ~David A. Bednar, April 2019
We shouldn't expect the Church organization to teach us everything we need to know. The Church is a Resource to help us on our pathway to obtaining eternal life and exaltation with God. We are responsible for our own salvation and for our family member's salvation. Church attendance alone will not save us.

If Ye Had Known Me ~David A. Bednar, October 2016
“The phrases ‘Ye never knew me’ and ‘Ye know me not’ should be a cause of deep spiritual introspection for each of us. Do we only know about the Savior, or are we increasingly coming to know Him? How do we come to know the Lord?”

To Whom Shall We Go? ~M. Russell Ballard, October 2016
“In the end, each one of us must respond to the Savior’s question: ‘Will ye also go away?”

Sharing the Restored Gospel ~Dallin H. Oaks, October 2016
“As we speak to others, we need to remember that an invitation to learn more about Jesus Christ and His gospel is preferable to an invitation to learn more about our Church. We want people to be converted to the gospel. That is the great role of the Book of Mormon. Feelings about our Church follow conversion to Jesus Christ; they do not precede it. Many who are suspicious of churches nevertheless have a love for the Savior. Put first things first.”

Process
Lift Up Your Head and Rejoice ~M. Joseph Brough

The General Process to develop Compatible Relationships is Sacrifice. It is to endure difficult things without bitterness, spite, or turning and reviling again. It is to forgive and to objectively resolve conflicts together, relying on Jesus Christ's sacrifice to recompense us for the things that we need.

Exercising our Spiritual Muscles ~Juan Pablo Villa, April 2019
We can't just read and write about strengthening our physical muscles. We need to actually use them, sacrifice, experience the strain in order for growth and the development of physical Resources to occur. The same principle applies to our spiritual Resources.

Answers to Prayers ~Brook P. Hales, April 2019
Sometimes the Lord has a purpose in mind that is different from our own. When we feel like he has forsaken us because our Desires are not being obtained, it is often the case that further down the road we understand that it was a blessing that they were withheld because it resulted in greater blessings.

Cleansed by Repentance ~Dallin H. Oaks, April 2019
The laws of men are often much more harsh than the laws of God. We may have to endure mortal judgments but if we live by God, we can sense and rely upon his forgiveness. Mortal judgments can be incorrect. Men may forgive but if we continue in our sins, we remain unforgiven. Men may not forgive but if we have repented of our sins, the Lord forgives us. Only Christ can forgive sins.

Process
Abound with Blessings ~Dale G. Renlund, April 2019
We don't earn our blessings from God but we do have to qualify for them. Just as the potential energy in a large wood pile can't be unleashed until a lighted match is added to it, so God's blessings can't be accessed until we exercise our faith in him. Our faith Process is the activation energy that unleashes God's blessings for us. Our Process isn't sufficient to completely pay for, value for value, God's blessings but it is nevertheless part of the inherent law we must obey to qualify for them.

Behold the Lamb of God ~Jeffrey R. Holland, April 2019
In ancient Israel a sacrifice was the symbolic offering of an animal on an altar of stone. When Jesus came, he ended that form of sacrifice and asked for a broken heart and a contrite spirit from each of us. He wants our motives. He understands when the ox is in the mire but if it's in there every Sunday, we need to sell the ox or fill the mire. We can't take his Mercy in vain. We need to take our covenants with him seriously by demonstrating through our actions how much we love and respect him.
