Definition of Level 6 Desire

This question is asking you:

What promises have you made to your Specific Person? What are your covenants? What are your responsibilities? What are your duties? What is the role you have taken in this relationship? What position do you play? What is your job?

It might be helpful to answer this question for each of your relationships, but it’s still important to work on one relationship at a time.

Marriage
What are your commitments to your spouse?

Parent/Child
What are your commitments to your parents?
What are your commitments to your children?

Siblings (Friends)
What are your commitments to your siblings?
What are your commitments to your friends?

Person/Community
What are your commitments to your community?

For this question, describe your Commitments in terms of the general purpose or need. For example, “I commit to taking daily time to nourish our relationship by learning to communicate better, evaluating all that my Specific Person does for me, and contemplating the things I admire about him.” As always, write your answer down in your notebook so you have a record of it. We are going to refer back to it in the Process and Result Questions.
